Lubich Osip (1896 - 1990)
Born in Grodno(Belorusia)at 1896 in a family of blacksmith. Studied at the Fine Art Academy in Odessa. In 1919 he moved to Berlin with a group of Russian artists including Pavel Tchelitchev, Jean Pougny and Lazare Meerson.
In 1923 he has a contract for the decoration of a Montmartre cabaret and moved to Paris. In 1925 was accepted into the Salon des Tuileries. In 1944 he was interned in Drancy concentration camp. His drawings produced in Drancy are in Yad Vashem Institute in Jerusalem. With the Liberation, he settled in Paris.
